Individual Therapy

Our aim when working with an individual is to help them work out what they want and how to achieve it.

We value difference and do not believe there is one right way to be in the world. Having said that, we do believe there are healthy and unhealthy principles to live by and each decision we make for ourselves will have a cost and a gain.

In our counselling, we will help a person to understand themselves better by exploring their feelings and beliefs about themselves, others and the world in general. With this greater understanding they can make better informed decisions for themselves or accept why they chose to live the way they do.

We believe that our decisions are often made without full awareness of what is motivating or limiting us. We aim to help a person be more aware of their motivations and limitations in order to change to become more fully who they are or want to be.
